Lakebed Relic Broken-In M65 Field Jacket

A workwear jacket, pre-washed to remove stiffness and skip the break-in period.

This is not a new field jacket.

It’s a washed canvas work jacket that already feels worn-in —
like the kind you keep wearing because it’s already broken in.

This jacket is made from a 320gsm high-density brushed cotton twill, designed to balance structural support with daily durability. The fabric undergoes the Lakebed Relic wash with a hand-aged finish, reducing surface gloss and creating controlled, natural tone variation. Minor differences in texture or shading are normal characteristics of this finishing method.

The overall construction follows a classic M65 functional layout: four external pockets, one internal pocket, a stand collar with a concealed hood, a metal zipper with a snap storm flap, and reinforced shoulders. An adjustable drawcord at the hem helps fine-tune fit and load distribution when carrying gear.

The fit is a regular, slightly relaxed cut with stable shoulders and enough room for layering without altering the jacket’s outline. It can be worn on its own in transitional seasons and delivers extended cold-weather performance when paired with a quilted or sherpa liner.

Finished in low-saturation matte green tones, the jacket maintains a clean and stable appearance suitable for commuting, travel, and daily use, with an emphasis on long-term wearability, functionality, and consistent structural performance.
